The price of the most popular cryptocurrency has broken through the landmark $82,000, a new all-time high. After Donald Trump was elected the 47th US President, Bitcoin spiked to $82,357, gaining 3.79%. 

In recent days, virtual currencies have been breaking historic records in the post-election euphoria.  In the late New York session on November 6, Bitcoin surged to $76,000, setting new all-time highs twice. Later, on November 10, BTC surpassed the psychologically significant level of $80,000. 

Remarkably, in recent months, Donald Trump has shifted his stance towards digital assets to win over the crypto community. In July this year, the Republican addressed the Bitcoin 2024 conference in Nashville, declaring his intention to turn America into a "Bitcoin superpower." One of the most significant Bitcoin spikes occurred after the assassination attempt on Trump in July. The crypto instantly jumped by over 4%. 

Experts remain divided on the future trajectory of the first cryptocurrency. Some believe Bitcoin could reach a staggering $100,000 or higher, while others anticipate a correction after the $80,000 level is achieved.
